The siren blares and the first load runs for the racks. "One load west!" is the call as the first eight names are announced. The jumpers scramble for the plane and buckle up for takeoff. Once on scene, they size up the challenge, and the jumpspot. They watch those before them to read the wind and avoid obstacles, such as trees.
